From our 2013 Lessons and Carols Candlelight Service. We are joined by guest vocalists Holly Ruth Gale (Assistant Professor of Music, ATU) and Jeremy Hopper (student, UCA).

The singing girls had alot of fun performing to a massive audience at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton when UK Olympic medallist Diver Pete Waterfield made a special appearance. Lots of Laughs from the audience, and much amusement in the chorus!

It was formed in September 2013 as a recital and laboratory choir with the aim of providing vocal and choral training, as well as musical experience to its members, which they can use to train their respective choirs.

Since 1998, it has been gathering in Poznań young people from various universities - people who are musically talented, active and open to new friendships and exchange of cultural experiences. The Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology performed at the Second Gala Concert of the 16th edition of the festival. The concert was held in the Adam Mickiewicz University Aula, known for its excellent acoustics. The choir performed among distinguished performers such as the Academic Choir of Warsaw University, the Academic Choir of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the Choir of Mahidol University from Thailand, and the percussion duo of Piotr and Bartłomiej Sutt.  less

It is made up of local people from Stirling and the surrounding areas, aged 15yrs old to 65yrs old, from students to nurses to teachers...and their repertoire includes songs by surprising bands and singers such as The Kings of Leon and Primal Scream. After only 2 months together, The Heart of Scotland Choir were delighted to be given the opportunity to sing at Stirling Castle’s 2010 Hogmanay Celebrations which then led to a spot on Ewen Cameron’s Real Radio Breakfast Show in the same week! 2011 has proved to be a phenomenal year for the HOS Choir. They have performed at numerous charity events across the central belt of Scotland, sold out their first concert at Stirling's Albert Halls, and appeared on John Barrowman's BBC1 show Tonight's The Night....they are now working towards their next Albert Halls concert in December 2011 and making plans to record Second Summer along with...    less

Th...  moreThe girls quartet in which Manca Simonič, Urška Brank, Ana Plemenitaš and Višnja Fičor are singing is called Gallina, in translation pullet. But the only association is their liveliness, ease and wittiness. The group was established in the end of 2010. The girls were singing together in several acknowledged Slovene choirs and they all still sing in varied singing groups (RTV Chamber Choir, Opera Choir SNT Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, Vocal Group iZbor …) The leader of the group is a promising young conductor Ana Erčulj, who is regularly attending masterclasses led by Slovene and foreign experts. Besides ordinarily performance they are working on implementation of the program by binding singing with other arts such as dancing and visuality. Their reperoaire consist of slovenian folk music, vocal jazz and pop. Gallina is working with young composers and encourage them to write for female quartet in different styles. We were originally founded as a workplace choir for K Shoes (taken over by Clarks) of Kendal, Cumbria in 1969. We have around fifty members and support local and national charities. We are a very friendly choir and welcome new members.

We were born on the 24th of july 2017. A new choir in our local area. Open to all singers who want to have a fun singing experience, performing songs from the charts, old and new.
