I felt The Latin word “Lux” (Light) was an appropriate fit for The imagery of sunlight and heavenly light. The second verse represents The grown child waking up from The dream (first verse). This verse is meant to be bittersweet raTher than strictly sad or angry. While There is grieving, The melody imparts comfort through nostalgia and memories. When The second verse gloriously blooms into The third, this represents everlasting love shining through even The darkest of times. Although gone, one will live in The heart and memory of anoTher forever.
