We were founded in 1928 and perform two major concerts a year in addition to our annual appearance at the Leith Hill Musical Festival in the Spring, as well as regular Christmas charity concerts and other activities.  

We are a friendly, non-auditioning, Mixed voice Choir of around 60 singers from Didcot and surrounding villages. We encourage choral singing for all ages and abilities, including those who have never sung in Choirs before as well as very experienced singers. We perform a wide range of music throughout the year and we're committed to contributing to the cultural life of our area. There is no need to audition, just to love singing! Our musical director is Rupert Gill.

Various performances have been given since its debut in major pl...  moreICanto is a Mixed voice, professional Choir founded in 2012 by pianist Hery Andrianirina. The group is one of Madagascar’s top Choirs and aims for musical excellence and artistic innovation. Various performances have been given since its debut in major places around the country. ICanto’s repertoire is eighty percent a capella and the Choir interpretes all genres of Classical Music, from ancient to modern as well as rearranged traditional Malagasy music. The Choir is conducted by Fitah Rasendrahasina.  

We are made up of 3 different Choirs - Mixed Chorus, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir. All of our members are students at Port Huron Northern High School and range from 13-18 years of age. We all share a love of music and create joy through singing together.
