We have a wide ranging repetoire from sacred a cappella, to patriotic, to classical, to Broadway, to Pop. We put on about fifteen concerts a year. We travel locally and throughout the southeastern United States.

We commission and seek out music composed by women, pieces written to enhance the sound of women's voices, and songs that honor the enduring spirit of all peoples. The Boychoir’s reputation for excellence has brought invitations from local and national music conventions, as well as sporting events and touring Broadway companies. The Boychoir has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Prague Philharmonic, Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on National Public Radio, amongst others. This season our choirboys will be featured in Minnesota American Choral Directors Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Golden Finale Concert along with first-time appearances with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, Edina Chorale and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church Choir (Orff’s Carmina Burana). We will participate in the third annual Minnesota State Festival of Boychoirs in April. The Merry Poppins. Last Sunday we performed in Café De Pianist in Amsterdam. That's me in the bottom right corner playing and conducting :) We performed songs from Musicals such as Hair, Fiddler on the Roof, Sister Act, and of course Mary Poppins. Founded in 2009, Gotham Rock Choir was formed to provide an outlet for singers of all levels and backgrounds to explore contemporary music in a supportive, fun, uplifting environment, to provide an alternative to the city’s many traditional choirs and to provide much-needed sense of “cool” to choral singing. Each week, a diverse group of New Yorkers from all walks of life–ranging from show business professionals to avid shower singers–gather at a professional rehearsal studio in Midtown Manhattan to belt out an eclectic mix of music in stunning 4-part harmony in preparation for a final concert held at an off-Broadway theatre.
