This SAATTBB arrangement may be performed by 3 men and 3 women's voices in a variety of settings- from voices only (with small adaptation for the musical breaks- instrumental parts may be represented by vocal treatment) to vocals with drums, vocals with piano, and on up to full orchestration. Perfect as a concert opener or finale, the energy generated from this piece makes it a versatile inclusion in standard repertoire for choirs who want to be challenged musically but have a lot of fun in the process. Listen to Eri Yamamoto and Choral Chameleon's Artistic Director Vince Peterson discussing the project, with footage from the November 2018 premiere at the Paul Taylor Dance Company Studios. The event culminated in a dance party encore with audience and choir dancing together! After a simple lesson in the Obon dance from Shiga prefecture in Japan, the audience danced to a reprise of the final movement by the choir and trio. The live performance recording of Goshu Ondo Suite will be released by Aum Fidelity label. Pre-Order from October 1st 2019, release date November 15th 2019.  less
