Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutter to Take That and Snow Patrol with a good dose of musicals and Disney thrown in for good measure. The seeds of the Choir were first planted back in mid-2012 when Maddy was asked to set up a choir to perform a small concert at her local church near to Stratford Upon Avon. The choir are all good friends and met in a variety of ways from other choirs, bands and performing arts groups. Since their first concert, they have grown to become one of the best and most revered choirs in the Midlands and have performed at countless venues from the Birmingham German Christmas Markets to Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations in Stratford Upon Avon to their very first concert in Warwick in June 2013. WYV is run by a team of experienced volunteers who give their time freely to be able to pass this experience on - the team consists of two primary school teachers, two doctors and a critical care nurse! Warwickshire Young Voices provide high quality musical activities for children from age 2 to age 16 through a range of classes, choirs and workshops.
