The Major Minors Children's Choir was formed in February 2012 by Musical Director Joanne Roelofs and Karen Boyce as a one off children's choir of unauditioned primary School aged children which was part of a choral programme with the Hutt VAlley Singers. ...  moreThe Major Minors Children's Choir was formed in February 2012 by Musical Director Joanne Roelofs and Karen Boyce as a one off children's choir of unauditioned primary School aged children which was part of a choral programme with the Hutt VAlley Singers. The choir was such a success and those involved enjoyed it so much that it was decided to continue. The Choir is a training Choir with the children having opportunities to sing or speak solo lines and learn harmonies. Current members are aged between 4 and 12. The Harmonic Minors is the Major Minors Children's Choir's extension group. This is an auditioned choir for older children and teens.  less

Each season we perform choral mast...  moreThe Nashoba VAlley Chorale is a mixed-voice Chorus with 90+ members based in Littleton, Massachusetts. Our singers come together from a wide range of towns in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each season we perform choral masterworks with professional soloists and a professional orchestra. We have recently performed: the Mozart Requiem, the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carmina Burana, Ola Gjeilo Dark Night of The Soul, and currently rehearsing the Verdi Messa Da Requiem under the artistic leadership of conductor Anne Watson Born. We love making great music together, and we work hard in rehearsals to bring an expressive and thrilling sound to our performances. We are a jovial and friendly group of people from All walks of life who enjoy singing together.  less

Many of our singers are School music teachers and voice teachers. We perform a wide variety of music from classical and broadway to pop and vocal jazz. The choir was founded in 2011 by friends who have spent their lives teaching others to perform, but whom rarely get the chance to sing anymore. We are directed by Jason Krigas and accompanied by Kathryn Polyack.

The sense of walking at night is evoked as are the inner-blues of the poem. Rhythmic and thought-provoking.
