During The choir’s existence, it has taken part in many musical festivals, and proven its quality by winning many first prizes, and has been joined in concert by world renowned soloists and choirs from Britain and America.
Every year, The choir perform around twenty concerts throughout Cumbria, raising thousands of pounds for charitable organisations and oTher worthy causes. The services of The choir are provided entirely free of charge to The organisations They perform for.
Outside The county They have performed in such notable venues as The Royal Albert Hall, London; on three occasions, Cardiff Arms Park; twice, Sheffield Arena and in Edinburgh.

The ensemble has performed successfully in major music festivals in Israel and abroad. Their resume includes hundreds of performances in The most prominent venues in Israel (‘The Israeli Opera House‘, ‘Binyanei Hauma‘, ‘Tzavta‘ etc...) and collaborations with various artists and ensembles, including: ‘The Vocal Octet‘ , ‘The Kolan quartet‘, The singer Hanan Yovel and ‘The Haifa Symphony Orchestra'. They have received media exposure on radio and television programs and were featured in a special television program celebrating The Millennium year which
was broadcasted to 60 countries worldwide. In 2004, The ensemble was invited to a concert tour in Germany and was warmly received by The critics.
The group's repertoire includes fresh vocal arrangements of well-known classical instrumental pieces, Israeli songs, folk songs in various languages, songs from musicals, jazz and latin music.

Surrey Children's Choir
The Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and The Senior Surrey Children's Choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus... moreThe Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and The Senior Surrey Children's Choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus, and a community adult chorus.
The Junior and Intermediate Training Choirs (JTC and ITC) provide a program of sequentially developed skills which prepare choristers for admission into The Surrey Children's Choir. The training choirs perform annually at The Family Christmas Concert and Year End concert (held in May of each year). They also often compete at The Fraser Valley Kiwanis Music Festival, always with great results. The training choirs may also perform at various events in The community.
The SCC, a treble-voice choir of boys and girls aged 12-18 is a consistent gold medal winner at local festivals, hailed by Gerald Van Wyck, Vancouver Community College professor as "one of The best children's choirs in Canada". These exuberant young vo... less

Tenía que quedar un registro de este concierto realizado el 27 de Abril de 2013 en el Ex-Convento de Santo Domingo de Garachico, Tenerife, Islas Canarias, dentro del VIII Ciclo de "Los Caprichos Musicales de La Isla Baja", porque para nosotros resultó me... moreTenía que quedar un registro de este concierto realizado el 27 de Abril de 2013 en el Ex-Convento de Santo Domingo de Garachico, Tenerife, Islas Canarias, dentro del VIII Ciclo de "Los Caprichos Musicales de La Isla Baja", porque para nosotros resultó memorable; nuestro deseo se ha hecho realidad de la mano de Eduardo Ruiz y este "Hallelujah" en el que actúan como solistas José Jaime Martín y Pedro San blas. Infinitamente agradecidos, amigo. El arreglo corresponde al compositor y arreglista danés Jens Johansen, Director del Coro "Vocal Line".
Canción enormemente versionada, siempre ha habido alrededor de ella, un debate sobre la religiosidad de su letra que fue primando en las sucesivas versiones pero que no parece estar en el original de Leonard Cohen donde la religiosidad se pone al servicio de la poética y no al revés. Usando como metafora la historia del Rey de David, Cohen nos cuenta que, aun con sus reveses y sinsabores, la vida merece que cantemos por ella un "Aleluya".
