We think everyone can sing and complete beginners, shower singers and pros are all welcome. With no auditions and no requirements to read Music it’s all about the enjoyment of singing. We sing for 3 terms a year and each term ends with a fantastic end of term charity gig, it’s great to be able to give back to the local community whilst enjoying ourselves so much! We sing everything from Queen and Aretha Franklin to Hozier and Florence and the Machine, and have members ranging in age from 20-70, there is really something for everyone! This is our Choir's 10th year and we're always looking for new members, so if you fancy a sing please get in touch. We offer 1 free taster to each new member so you can try the Choir out before deciding to join. We preform choral Music, ethnic Music and modern songs emphasis on Slovenian authors. We preform a lot across Slovenia on solo tours or we prefrom on different cultural events. For four years in a row, we organize Festival oktetov Kranj (Festival of small vocal groups). We also preformed successfully abroad in Perast, Montenegro and Praga.

Anchorus Polyphonic Choir, was assembled by experienced chorists in February 2017. their initial vision was to be a Turkish Choir which is capable of making world class polyphonic Music in Turkey and performing on international stages around the world. ...  moreAnchorus Polyphonic Choir, was assembled by experienced chorists in February 2017. their initial vision was to be a Turkish Choir which is capable of making world class polyphonic Music in Turkey and performing on international stages around the world. the Choir performed onstage for the first time on 12th August 2017, in the city of Batumi in Georgia. This concert was organized under the auspices of the Turkish consulate general in Batumi, in the concert hall of the Zakaria Paliashvili Music School. A selection of modern polyphonic songs from various cultures were performed and the performance received great praise from the audience. then the Choir respectively appeared in front of audiences in Ankara, Kastamonu and Adana, followeed by their participation in Turkey Choirs Festival in June. then in August, Anchorus participated in the competition episode of the “Orhid Choir Festival” which was held in the town of Orhid in Macedonia.
