The choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during Their participation in different musical projects. The present line-up has been steady since 2006. Their repertoire offers a variety of styles of great difficulty and chromatic richness, and tries to take advantage of The cultural and geographic circumstances which make of The Canary Islands a multicultural place.
A remarkable feature of The group is Their willingness to innovate within The choral music.
Their versatility and The variety of repertoire They face can be seen in The different projects They have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects. A few instances of The choir’s late activity are The following:

We are an auditioned chamber choir of 30-40 members who love sharing The joy of choral singing with each oTher and our community. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles.
Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience members often tell us how much They love learning about The music from our director’s comments, which help Them more fully enter into The music and enjoy it. less

The Ensemble specialises in The restoration and performance of neglected choral masterpieces of The 16th and 17th centuries. Magnificat ranges in size from four to forty voices and performs a wide range of music, both a capella and with Ensembles of period instruments.
