The Chorallen Dresden are about 40 women of different age, different professions, different ... Every Wednesday there's something for our synapses: Singing jazz grooves, clapping on 2 and 4, not to mention running back and forth while singing. And let's not forget: Always smile! Biography In 2005, the women's choir was founded by Anja Schumann, who wields the scepter of musical art. Since then we diligently work on repertoire, refine the singing talents and laugh a lot. Commissioned by Central Bucks High School-West, premiered at the ACDA Conference 2020 (Rochester, NY) by the Central Bucks High School-West Women’s Choir. This piece is a protest: a poignant outcry forged from silenced echoes, demanding to be heard. “Human” celebrates the mosaic of humanity—diversity in our DNA, the kaleidoscope of genders, and the unity that emerges when we embrace our differences. Perfect for advanced women’s choirs, festivals, and programs exploring justice and identity Lyrics: Joe Hazell & Gianni Recupero Music: Santiago Veros  less

We considered ourselves to be in a sort of nomansland sociologically, each for different reasons, but the Vosges valleys provided the most beautiful "nomansland" imaginable for our discussions. This song is the slightly mystical, and somewhat understated, memory of those days: Here in nomansland where all had fled the weather we waited patiently and enjoyed God's sun together Here in nomansland a grandson of Adam residing in his earthly grandfather's home the woods and sun presiding Here in nomansland Hermes' and Aphrodite's son sings cuckoo to the ill-shorn Mountain top and then is gone Here in nomansland we sing to the other's consolation whilst peaceful dog and cows look on at our natural perchance divine oration  less
