Nolo mortem peccatoris
Nolo mortem peccatoris; haec sunt verba Salvatoris.[I desire not the death of a sinner; these are the words of the Saviour.]
Father, I am thine only Son, sent down from heav’n mankind to save.Father, all things fulfilled and done according to thy will, I have.Father, my will now all is this: Nolo mortem peccatoris.Father, behold my painful smart, taken for man on ev’ry side;Ev'n from my birth to death most tart, no kind of pain I have denied, but suffered all, and all for this: Nolo mortem peccatoris.

The Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir conducted by Ofer dal Lal.
Richte mich, Gott, und führe Meine Sache
wider das unheilige Volk
und errette mich von den falschen und bösen Leuten.
Denn du bist der Gott Meiner Stärke;
Warum verstößest du mich?
Warum lässest du mich so traurig geh'n,
Was betrübst du dich, Meine Seele,
und bist so unruhig in mir?
Harre auf Gott! Denn ich werde ihm noch danken,
daß er Meines Angesichts Hülfe,
und mein Gott ist.

Magnum nomen Domini is a Christmas Motet composed by Bartłomiej Pękiel (1633-1670).
Pękiel served the court in Warsaw from about 1633. After the Swedish invasion of Poland in 1655 he then moved to Wawel Cathedral Chapel in Kraków, where he was Kapellmeister.
29 of Pękiel's works survive, mostly in manuscript. The musicologist Bartłomiej Gembicki divides these into two stages; early baroque (Warsaw) and church music in the style of prima pratica (Kraków). He wrote the only Polish church oratorio Audite mortales, on the topic of The Last Judgement.
Magnum nomen Domini
Magnum nomen domini Emanuel,
quod annuntiatum est per Gabriel,
hodie apparuit, apparuit in Israel
per Mariam virginem in Bethlehem.
Eia, eia.
Virgo Deum genuit,
quod divina voluit clementia.
Gaudete, gaudete,
Christus natus hodie,
gaudete, gaudete,
Christus natus hodie.
Alleluia.
