Vocal Authority is a community choir mostly drawn from employees of Lincolnshire County Council and their families. Coaching and conducting is provided by Bishop Grosseteste University College Community Music Development Co-ordinator Annie Walker. the emphases for members of Vocal Authority is very firmly on having fun - whether they are singing Latin rounds or modern chart hits, they aim to do it with a big smile on their faces!  

We were originally founded as a workplace choir for K Shoes (taken over by Clarks) of Kendal, Cumbria in 1969. We have around fifty members and support local and national charities. We are a very friendly choir and welcome new members.

the Songmen sing Guy Lewis's arrangement of Mr. Bojangles in the Concert Hall at the Musikhochschule as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Musick Festival on 3rd August 2011.
