Founded in 2003 our Musical journey takes us from Jazz to soul, pop to singer/songwriter. We are not professional singers but each of us has a very Musical background and we use every opportunity to further our Musical horizon, especially in terms of timbre and dynamics. Strong influences are the scandinavian contemporary choir scene led by Vocal Line, Bobby McFerrin, Take 6 and many more. Enjoy!

With two Musical pro...  moreSIETE PALOS is a band founded in 2005 in the city of Merida by seven young Venezuelan musicians with a wide Musical and vocal training, who offer an attractive rich dark voices proposal in a wide range of performance possibilities. With two Musical productions “Buenas Versiones” (2008) and “Rumba Romance” (2011) the Band has based their work on research and development of new ways of interpreting a cappella vocal music of various genres, in implementing voices assemblies and timbres that inspired the creation of strings, wind and percussion. Thus, they recreate repertoires and original sounds of Venezuela and Latin American, which makes the band a new identity communication vehicle and the artistic and cultural development of the region. SIETEPALOS is a Musical proposal that has been able to make them known in various national and international festivals, in which the band has shared the stage with renowned artists, among the most prominent are: Concert at the Julio Villarroel Festival. It's members represent the multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrou...  moreThe Honolulu Chorale, established in 1966, is one of the oldest non-audition community choruses in the State of Hawaii. It's members represent the multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrounds. Singers from all walks of life, ranging in age from teens to octogenarians make up the membership of the group. The Chorale presents two major concerts each year, in addition to sponsoring a Community Chorus Festival and performing at care facilities and retirement homes. In past years they toured Hawaii's neighboring Islands, Europe, Japan and China and are planning a trip to Ireland in the future. Membership in the Chorale is open to adult singers of the Oahu community.  less

Die aktuell mehr als 50 chorerfahrenen Amateursängerinnen und -sänger vom „SonntagsChor Rheinland-Pfalz“ wurden seinerzeit aus über 600 Bewerbern, in mehreren Durchläufen, nach festgelegten Kriterien ausgewählt. Musikalisch begleitete der „SonntagsChor Rheinland-Pfalz“ bereits Johannes Kalpers bei der TV-Sendung „SWR SonntagsTour“ sowie - bis heute - zahlreiche weitere Rundfunk- und TV-Produktionen des SWR, u.a. zusammen mit Thomas Anders. Eigene Konzerte und Projekte stehen ebenso auf dem Programm des bisher EINZIGEN wirklich LANDESWEITEN Auswahlchores. Downtown Voices has performed works by Reena Esmail, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Arvo Pärt, Anton Webern, Alberto Ginastera, Leoš Janáček, James MacMillan, and Philip Glass. The choir was recently featured in two world premieres: Luna Pearl Woolf’s Number Our Days at the Perelman Performing Arts Center and Benedict Sheehan’s oratorio Akathist, which was recorded alongside Trinity Choir, Artefact Ensemble, Trinity Youth Chorus, and NOVUS.
