They are adept in creating original and new musical arrangements from their intensive training on voice ensemble performance. For more than fifty years, the group have had produced notable conductors, choral and solo singers.

This version is based on that by the Golden Gate Quartet, the most successful of all of the African-American gospel music groups who sang in the jubilee quartet style. Formed in 1934 the group remains active today, although with no original members. This is from The OK Chorale's second public concert in March 2013 at St. Mary's Church, Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK.  less

Omukiro Kyobwaro (in the readings of today) is a sacred song from the indigenous Bwisi dialect, who are the people from Rwenzori Mountains, Bundibudyo District of Uganda. The song emphasises the greatness of Jesus Christ through his word.

We are resident at St. Matthew's parish church in Chapel Allerton. We rehearsal three times a month, on a Friday evening and sing four services a month, including Evensong on the first Sunday of every month. We also often host come and sing days and various workshops, our two most recent projects have been on Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri and Mozart's Requiem.
