Founded in 2003 our musical journey takes us from Jazz to soul, pop to singer/songwriter. We are not professional singers but each of us has a very musical background and we use every opportunity to further our musical horizon, especially in terms of timbre and dynamics. Strong influences are the scandinavian contemporary Choir scene led by Vocal Line, Bobby McFerrin, Take 6 and many more. Enjoy!

We have developed a reputation for excellent performance of interesting and challenging programmes for singers, players and audiences alike. Repertoire spans vocal works from the eleventh century to the present day including several Baroque present-day premières, with musicians drawn from recognised professional period ensembles.

Its aims are to rehearse and perform a wide variety of music to a high standard, and to engage with the local community, both in its membership and by bringing top quality performances to the local area and beyond. We also plan to have a lot of fun doing it!We don’t hold auditions and are delighted to welcome new members of all voice types and experience levels.

It was born thanks to its director, Ludovico (Dodo) Versino, who instilled the love for choral music in high school students all across Rome, which led them all to become friends. It doesn’t have an exact date of birth, because it began as a way to get together, rather than as a formal Choir. They don’t have a uniform, a fixed meeting place, or a specific repertoire genre. Only one thing is certain: they tell their story through their singing, so come listen the coro che non c’è  less
