This beautiful motet by the Dutch composer Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck (1562-1621) was recorded on 5th December 2010 in the Harvey Nichols Espresso Bar in Leeds' magnificent Victoria Quarter in the first of St Peter's Singers' now-traditional Sunday evening carol performances there. The choir is directed by Dr Simon Lindley, its Music Director since the Singers' formation in June 1977. The program of the choir ensemble must be on the category of CLASSICAL, POP, ROCK, JAZZ, or FOLK music. The choice of program it’s free without limit of the instruments that may accompany the choir ensemble. The duration of performance shall not exceed 20 minutes per performance. The choir ensembles may have tree performances during the Festival. The following application documents must be provided by the closing date June, 01.Accommodation shall be organized from the organizers in student hostels in Skopje. Mariotti”, PerugiA. The School choir itself has, over the years, gone from strength to strength despite the need for constant renewal caused by the inevitable “turnover” as new students took the places of those who left. However, after this experience, which has included many concerts in the region, participations in Choir Festivals in Italy and artistic exchanges with youth choirs from Germany, Hungary, Spain, Denmark and the Czech Republic, our desire to continue singing and, of course, the joy which singing together gave us all made it obvious that the time had clearly come to establish a group which could allow us to continue our musical journey together.
