Performances are of a widely varied nature, including major Works such as Verdi's Requiem and Britten's War Requiem. New members always welcome - see website for details. In addition to the main choir there are smaller groups such as the Chamber Choir and Ladies' Choir. An extensive 'Academy' vocal and musical training programme is in place, open to members and non-nembers.  less

In May, 2013, composer Ola Gjeilo spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus to join the choir in...  more"Ubi Caritas II: Through Infinite Ages" (Ola Gjeilo) is sung by the Central Washington University Chamber Choir (Gary Weidenaar, director). In May, 2013, composer Ola Gjeilo spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus to join the choir in recording 4 of his pieces. the other three were "Sanctus", "Luminous Night of the Soul", and "Vast Eternal Skies" This performance of Gjeilo's "Ubi Caritas II" is from that session, which included a rendition on which the composer later joined the choir and improvised an accompaniment. In this video the choir sings the piece in its published (unaccompanied) version.
