We were joined tonight by the amazing Maryville College Choir from Tennessee who learned our song in 10 mins and then we performed together! SOOOOO GLORIOUS!!!

Pacifica Singers provides an ideal performance venue for experienced and motivated choral singers whose goal is to make Music at a very high level. By providing direct exposure to the world of professional Music making, it is an experience of great value for singers intending to make a career in Music. Current members live throughout the lower mainland, with many serving as conductors, Music educators, and/or professional singers in their communities.  less

We have been invited by Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, UK, to sing as "Choir in residence" for a week in July 2014, taking over their Choir's duties of singing 8 services that week. We are the only Hawai'i Choir to belong to the Royal School of Church Music, and we use their adjudication standards to award medals which are internationally recognized by the RSCM. We sing sacred Music in English, Latin, and Hawaiian. We are always looking for new choristers. Auditions are year-around, although placement occurs only in fall semester and spring semester. It is open to all no matter what Musical background, if any you may have. We "sing for the the sheer joy of it" and do local concerts. Recently we have sung at a large church inter-denominational christmas gathering and the highlight of the year to sing at a wedding at the request of the Bride and Groom.

We are a truly trans-generational Choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative Choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm.
