And, with no auditions and no need to be able to read music, there are no excuses! PopChoir is fun, relaxed and surprisingly cool (that po-faced image of a Choir couldn't be further from the truth). We sing brilliant songs, with fabulous arrangements and have a great time. Come and see for yourself!!

The ensemble performs sacred, religious, OPM, Pop and Folkloric repertoire from different well-known local and international composers and arrangers. The group was formed in 2016 with sixteen pioneer members representing the 16th note on the logo of Quorista. Currently engaged itself in music festivals, concerts, Local and International Competitions. Currently under the musical tutelage of the founder himself Mr. Ronnie Abarquez.  less

Papandopulo composed "Pozdrav Zori dalmatinskoj" on August 1st 1976 in Opatija (Croatia). Written in 1844 by Ana Vrdoljak, a poetess from Imostski (Croatia), the lyrics of this song date back to the times of Illyrian movement, celebrating the launching of the magazine "Zora dalmatinska", a literary and educational weekly issued in Zadar, thus being the first Croatian literary magazine to be issued outside Zagreb (from 1844 to 1849). The song was published on the cover of the No. 44 of the magazine, issued on October 28th 1844.  less

Our choral projects include: inclusive community Choirs for people with and without disabilities, Choirs specifically for adults with intellectual disabilities, and Choirs for older people, with a particular focus on those with dementia and memory loss. There are now a total of ten Choirs operating in the Dublin area, with more planned for 2015!
