Dynami...  moreThe Jamaica Youth Chorale is a movement of Jamaican youth, committed to the highest standard in the expression of choral Music. This SATB group presents members from across the length and breadth of the island ranging in age from 16 to 26 years. Dynamic, gifted and spirited are some of the words used to describe this group of Vocalists and Musicians. The JYC was founded by its principal director Gregory Simms, a member of the World Choir Council and National Coordinator for Music with the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission. Musical Direction for the JYC is given by a talented group of young composers and Musicians led by noted jazz pianist Dr Kathy Brown and Hanif Lawrence  less

The group is comprised of singers from all around the world who all call Hong Kong their home. Under the leadership of Celia Leung, the group strives to add more Musical colour to the city. Sing City was seen singing for charity and community events, and also at their own Christmas and Summer performances. The group participated in the Karuizawa International Choral Festival in August 2018.

FHCS was formed in 1951 and has grown into an ambitious 100-strong Choir. Membership is open to anyone with or without choral experience. We aim for high standards, and of course strong singers are always valued – but you don’t have to be able to read m...  moreFHCS was formed in 1951 and has grown into an ambitious 100-strong Choir. Membership is open to anyone with or without choral experience. We aim for high standards, and of course strong singers are always valued – but you don’t have to be able to read Music, and there are no auditions. The age range of members stem from 20 to over 70 so there is room for everyone. If you’re not sure which voice part you are then Christopher Wray, our Musical Director, can help you with this. The Choir performs three public concerts each year, at Easter, in the Summer and at Christmas. We also support the local communities by singing at various events and this includes raising funds for charities. Each year we also sing away from London which combines singing to another community, or combining a performance with their Choir, with a fun day out.
