We are a group of friends who got to know each oTher while singing in The same academic or chamber choirs. Eventually, our passion for The classical music led us to create our own vocal ensemble. In our repertoire There are also some pop music arrangements.

The ensemble performs masterworks of The choral-orchestral repertoire such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Orff's Carmina Burana, as well as opera choruses, a cappella repertoire, and works specially composed for Them. Performances include world-renowned guest soloists and musicians. The ensemble is directed by internationally acclaimed conductor and composer Steven Sametz. Lehigh University Choral Union has performed at New York's Carnegie Hall and has toured internationally in China, Portugal, Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Austria and Hungary. No audition is required but The ability to read music is helpful.  less

The Ensemble performs in some of The most important music festivals in Israel, and has won first prize and a gold medal in The International Liturgic Music Competition for choirs 1996, sponsored by The Vatican. On 2001 Jerusalem A-Cappella Singers performed a world premier in Jerusalem and Italy of a Mass in Arabic by faTher Armando Pieruchi and in 2009 They were invited to take part in a special project for Christmas which was produced and filmed in Jerusalem by The BBC and forecasted later in England.
