The ensemble has a fascinating and diverse repertoire, most of which is original arrangements written by its members, some with humorous texts. The different programs also consist of traditional a-cappella arrangements. Among our different programs there are "Misa Criolla" with an authentic South American band; "Le Bouquet de Swing", rich harmonies and jumpy rhythms, well known jazz standards and new arrangements to pop songs; "American Harmony", in which the Israel Chamber Orchestra joins the octet in an American themed program; and our new program, Sgt. Pepper and the Fabulous Four. A year before, there was already a male Vocal group consisting of six members called MIKE 6, the establishment of which was inspired by a US Vocal group TAKE 6. Voxtet was basically formed by subsequent addition of female singers to MIKE6. The formation of Voxtet started out with nine persons but, during the first three years, it ca me down to the current six members. Most of the singers in Voxtet have their musical background in various choirs. Some of them still sing in Jihlava’s famous PS Campanula choir. 1999 Voxtet’s first concert took place on 31 May 1999 in Jihlava’s Horácké theatre. From then on, Voxtet’s performed at various minor events as well as its own big shows. 1999-2001 At the beginning, Voxtet was remarkable especially due to the absolute lack of a distinct dramaturgy. In 2016 we released our first own CD "Christmas in Orange" with traditional and extraordinary Christmas songs from all over the world. We are also represented with a total of three pieces on the CDs „Salzburg singt 2 - Advent" and „Salzburg singt 3 - Adventkalender" of the Salzburg Choir Association. The constitution and first rehearsal of the cho...  moreAcademic Male Choir of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing was established on January 11, 2016 as the initiative of the conductor Josip degl' Ivellio and the Dean Professor Mislav Grgic, PhD. The constitution and first rehearsal of the choir was held on January 18, 2016. The choir has been holding since its foundation regular weekly rehearsals, and has grown into the biggest male choir in Croatia, but also wider. The choir in its repertoire emphasizes classical choral literature, primarily Croatian composers. In addition, the choir's repertoire includes both a cappella compositions of the classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, as well as the clapet and compositions of contemporary or popular multilayer music. Members of the choir are present the former students and staff of the Faculty, as well as other interested friends and supporters of the Faculty. Since foundation, choir has won multiple golden plaques and more than 80 concerts or performances.  less
