Having been friends and in The choral scene for twenty years, The two have been talking about a project like this for around fifteen years.
Spurred by The release of The revised English missal, Alejandro and Eugene both thought it a good time to finally restart The project that They had shelved for some time. Only now, The idea wasn’t just to end with a single album; The idea was now to establish a ministry that would introduce a new generation of music to Philippine Catholics. The new ministry would have as its aim The creation of beautiful music to help The faithful to a more prayerful, solemn state of mind. Springing from that, They both decided that The new ministry would be called Solemne Ministry.
For its first project, Misa Solemne, The ministry features Solemne, Solemne Ministry’s flagship choir and The one Al... less

The score blossomed during a fellowship at The Virginia Center for The Creative Arts, a pastoral setting that nurtured embracing The poem’s vivid landscape. The piano provides a repeating foundation over which The choir playfully evokes The spare text, using variations of The initial Theme throughout. There is a contemplative moment midway, Then The pulse resumes, concluding with a gleeful repetition of The last line.
"The Red Wheelbarrow is a wonderfully approachable and fun piece of music. The singers of Inversion had a blast working through The rhythmic lilt and subtly beautiful harmonies, so often found in Rich Campbell's music. The clever musical interpretation brought out The wry humor of The text." Trevor Shaw, Inversion Ensemble AD less

The forty boys of The choir are educated at Westminster Under School, part of London’s historic Westminster School, established before 1179 as a monastic school of The Benedictine Abbey of St Peter. In 1560 The school was re-founded by Queen Elizabeth I for boys to be “liberally instructed in good books to The greater honour of The state.” Ever since, The school’s history has been intertwined with The momentous state events and political turmoils of The capital. Old Westminsters dominated Parliament for most of The eighteenth century and The output of leading politicians, statesmen and soldiers has continued to this day. The school’s contribution to literature, philosophy and The arts has been immense, from such alumni as Ben Jonson, John Dryden, Henry Purcell and Christopher Wren to A.A. Milne, Adrian Boult, John Gielgud and Peter Ustinov, from Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Stephen Poliakoff to Julian Anderson, Ian Bostridge, Helena B... less
