This was during a workshop and was an impromptu performance so they brought her up on stage. July 2009. Oran went to an early morning workshop with Eric Whitacre during the Mondiale Choral Competition in Laval, Quebec. At the end of the workshop, an audience member requested that our choir sing one of Eric Whitacre's pieces. We were doing Seal Lullaby for the competition, so we just jumped right into that one with Eric conducting us!!!!!!!!!!! It was pretty darn awesome! This also features Jen McMillan on piano. the piano was really close to where I was standing, so that's why it sounds super loud in this video. Sorry.  less

Although their trajectory is short they...  moreTantak Korala is a Child-youth group from Mungia, which performs choral activities in addition to his musical training. the choir is composed by Children between 7 to 18, all directed by their conductor, Asun Lopez. Although their trajectory is short they have much encouragement to learn and improve. In 2009, they federated in the Bizkaia´s Choir Federation (BAE) and so they did their first performance in public. Since then, they have decided to continue participing everywhere they can, because it enriches them in their musical konwledge. In 2010 they won the second prize in the National Contest of Carols of Santo Domingo de la Calzada. In 2012 they took part in Europa Cantat Festival, celebrated in Torino (Italy).  less
