the present church Choir, one of the finest Choirs of it’s type in the UK, is an excellent mixed-voice Choir with about 30 members who are currently brought up to music by Stephen Dagg, Director of Music (also Director of the Centre for Young Musicians, a...  morethe present church Choir, one of the finest Choirs of it’s type in the UK, is an excellent mixed-voice Choir with about 30 members who are currently brought up to music by Stephen Dagg, Director of Music (also Director of the Centre for Young Musicians, a division of the Guildhall School, and the London Schools Symphony Orchestra). the Choir’s repertoire of sacred music ranges from the 16th to the 21st centuries, including a recently commissioned and premièred work by Roxanna Panufnik. the Choir sings to a cathedral standard every week at the Sung Eucharist on Sunday and Choral evensong every fourth Sunday. It also sings at special services during the year and goes on tour each summer. Recent tours have been to Bordeaux (2014). Dordodgne/Aquitaine (2013), and Rome (2011, 2012).  less

We are a chorus of about 100 singers performing 3 or 4 major choral works per year. We also sing in some of the most renowned cathedrals in the UK

Founded by singers and beatboxers from the...  moreNew a cappella group the Refrains are quickly establishing themselves on the thriving a cappella scene in London. the group is made up of twenty-somethings (mostly!) who are young professionals living in London. Founded by singers and beatboxers from the likes of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Last Choir Standing and Britain's Got Talent favourites Out of the Blue, the group’s repertoire spans from Billy Joel to the Black Eyed Peas, via pop, jazz, barbershop, rap and original composition as they offer a programme of sumptuous jazz arrangements, genre jumping covers and assorted originals. Following a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Refrains enJoyed a sold-out London debut at the Forge, Camden. Recent gigs have included the London A Cappella Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Silver Bullet and private events.
