Se inician en el canto polifónico postulando primero a la Cor...  moreEl Coro está dirigido por el Maestro Arturo Hernández desde 1992. Ha ofrecido cerca de 400 presentaciones. Lo forman estudiantes de las especialidades que ofrece la Universidad de Piura (Perú). Se inician en el canto polifónico postulando primero a la Coral Universitaria, por donde han pasado cerca de mil jóvenes diferentes en los últimos 15 años. Los más destacados, son admitidos en el Coro, donde se perfeccionan a través de ensayos semanales, bajo la dirección del Maestro Hernández. Normalmente actúan entre 35 y 50 jóvenes, que saben armonizar su tiempo de clases y estudio con los ensayos. Desde 1989 el Coro y la Coral son promovidos por el Dr. Luis Eguiguren Callirgos. "Coro UDEP" is conducted by Maestro Arturo Hernández since 1992. It has offered over 400 presentations. It is made by students of the specialties offered by the University of Piura (Peru). Musically, individual members can boast… singing in St Mark’s, Venice; the Duomo, Florence; the Salzburg Festival; performing a Vocal recital on a stairlift; recording jingles for local radio and being the first girl chorister to sing for a service in St Paul’s Cathedral, London.  less

Directe...  moreBlossom Street is a highly versatile and vibrant chamber Choir comprising some of the UK’s best young singers which performs regularly on TV and radio as well as on the concert platform, and has released two critically acclaimed CDs with Naxos. Directed by Hilary Campbell, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, the group was formed a decade ago, while the singers were studying at the University of York, and relocated to London in 2007. In York, Blossom Street filmed a medley of Christmas carols for BBC2, which was broadcast during the snooker final in 2005, and since then has performed nationwide and beyond. They sang to Prince Charles on ITV1 as part of his 60th birthday celebrations, and gave their debut in Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the Voicelab series in 2009. Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside college. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). We are interested in a close partnership with the other Choirs outside Poland (exchange tours and joint appearances)  less
