It started life as The James Ashworth Singers giving its first concert in Thornton Parish Church in April 1976. After some years the base moved to the Unitarian Church near St Luke’s Hospital to be more central for members coming from all parts of Bradford and the surrounding area. In 1979 James Ashworth moved on to projects new and was succeeded by Douglas Robinson who had recently retired as Chorus Master at Covent Garden and who held the post until ill health forced his retirement. During this period the name was changed first to The Ashworth Singers and later to The Bradford Chorale. John Coates took over as Musical Director in 1984 and was followed by Tricia Platts in 1991. Since Tricia’s departure the Chorale has been led by several Musical Directors including Carleton Etherington, andrew Dibb, Elizabeth Altman, John Griffiths and Christopher Rathbone. Mandskoret of 1914 are a group of adult, personable men who like to sing, from the experienced to the new Singers. Mandskoret av 1914 Mandskoret er en usedvanlig sprek 100 åring, og er Haugesund eldste mannskor. I Mandskoret av 1914 er vi en gjeng med voksne, omgjengelige menn som liker å synge – fra de rutinerte, til helt nye sangere. 
 Mannskor mer enn bare sang Det handler om opplevelser knyttet til deltakelse, måten vi tar vare på hverandre og den spesielle sosiale aktiviteten. Fulham Camerata is primarily a non-auditioning amateur chamber Choir with between 25 and 50 members. It is supported by a smaller, auditioning Fulham Camerata Ensemble which is made up of professional and semi-professional Singers, allowing the main Camer...  moreFulham Camerata is primarily a non-auditioning amateur chamber Choir with between 25 and 50 members. It is supported by a smaller, auditioning Fulham Camerata Ensemble which is made up of professional and semi-professional Singers, allowing the main Camerata to tackle exciting repertoire and maintain high musical standards while fostering the careers of young professionals. The Choir also offers choral scholarships to promising young soloists which provides vocal support for the amateur Choir, and fosters career development for the scholars. The amateur and ensemble groups come together for at least three main concerts a year with additional Christmas concerts, sometimes with orchestra. The amateur Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30pm  less
