Led by innovative and experienced choral conductors, this exciting new choir will rehearse weekly in the heart of Blackheath, and will perform locally and further afield, at a wide range of events and concerts. Are you interested in being part of an exhilarating new group, performing everything from Tina Turner to Thomas Tallis? Let us answer some questions for you… I’m new to singing in choirs. Does that matter? Absolutely not! VOCALIZE: Blackheath welcomes singers of all abilities and experiences, and the songs will be taught in a variety of ways to suit each singer. The singing girls had alot of fun performing to a massive audience at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton when UK Olympic medallist Diver Pete Waterfield made a special appearance. Lots of Laughs from the audience, and much amusement in the chorus!

Coaching and conducting is provided by Bishop Grosseteste University College Community Music Development Co-ordinator Annie Walker. The emphases for members of Vocal Authority is very firmly on having fun - whether they are singing Latin rounds or modern chart hits, they aim to do it with a big smile on their faces!
