A true community venture, Love2sing opens its doors to adults of all ages and abilities who just Love2sing. The Choir began, at Hanwell Community Centre W7. The first class had only 11 brave singers but over the years numbers have steadily grown. In 2015 the Choir was asked to take part in the prestigious Ealing Music and Film Festival performing to a sold out auditorium. Come and sing with us at a Love2sing Choir near you! All levels and abilities are welcome with No Audition. Choirs meet in Hanwell, Ealing and Ickenham. Take part in fun, friendly and informative weekly rehearsals plus twice yearly concerts and socials. You will make new friends, get involved in your local community, learn and Love2sing. We rehearse every Tuesday from 19:00 til 21:00 in the Atelier Marcel Hastir, rue du Commerce 51, 1000 Brussels. We usually do two concerts per year and like to socialize as well. Please feel free to join us and give it a try. When you come to the Atelier Marcel Hastir, the door is usually open (if not call on below mentioned number) and our rehearsing room is on the second floor.  less

Born in September of 2012, the New Hope – Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir is a true community-based and community-oriented chorus, made up of members from the New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville, and immediate surrounding areas. The Choir is non-audition, and is open to all singers and would-be singers, ages 14 to 84 (and beyond). NHS&LCC is the New Hope area’s Musical voice. We’ll be there a few times a year with concerts, we’ll be singing at community events, for Christmas caroling, at nursing homes & rehab centers, and more.  less

The first concert was December 1964 at the National Gallery. After one season, Gerald moved to Montreal and Brian Law took over as director of St Matthew's church and took over directing the Cantata Singers as well. In 1969, the Choir was invited to sing Purcell's Dido and Aneas at the new National Arts Centre in November. To balance the NAC Orchestra, the Choir increased in size to 44 members. The CSO became the Choir in residence of the NAC and has performed in many NAC productions over the years, singing under many world renowned conductors such as, Eduardo Mata, Helmuth Rilling, Franz Paul Decker, andrew Parrott, Trevor Pinnock, Ermanno Florio, Ivor Bolton, Richard Hickox, Paul Goodwin, andreas Delfs, Jane Glover, Martin Pearlman, William Boughton, Thierry Fischer, Gerald Wirth, Earl Stafford, Frank McNamara, David Lockington and Eric Kunzel among others.
