The 15 strong member Choir, under the direction of Berima Amo, draws on the youth living in the Amsterdam area especially in the Southeast pArts. The Choir is dedicated to sharing the joy of faith through indigenous music with audiences around Europe. We specialize in singing indidenous and folk music music from Ghana, West Africa, proudly exhibiting, learning and teaching our African heritage to the world. GCC meets every monday 7pm to sing, discuss about life, encourage each other and share ideas.  less

Founded in 2009, Gotham Rock Choir was formed to provide an outlet for singers of all levels and backgrounds to explore contemporary music in a supportive, fun, uplifting environment, to provide an alternative to the city’s many traditional Choirs and to provide much-needed sense of “cool” to choral singing. Each week, a diverse group of New Yorkers from all walks of life–ranging from show business professionals to avid shower singers–gather at a professional rehearsal studio in Midtown Manhattan to belt out an eclectic mix of music in stunning 4-part harmony in preparation for a final concert held at an off-Broadway theatre. It is made up of local people from Stirling and the surrounding areas, aged 15yrs old to 65yrs old, from students to nurses to teachers...and their repertoire includes songs by surprising bands and singers such as The Kings of Leon and Primal Scream. After only 2 months together, The Heart of Scotland Choir were delighted to be given the opportunity to sing at Stirling Castle’s 2010 Hogmanay Celebrations which then led to a spot on Ewen Cameron’s Real Radio Breakfast Show in the same week! 2011 has proved to be a phenomenal year for the HOS Choir. They have performed at numerous charity events across the central belt of Scotland, sold out their first concert at Stirling's Albert Halls, and appeared on John Barrowman's BBC1 show Tonight's The Night....they are now working towards their next Albert Halls concert in December 2011 and making plans to record Second Summer along with...    less
