Founded in New York City in 2008 by Artistic Director Vince Peterson, the organization now encompasses: a roster of professional ensemble singers, a volunteer chorus of 40-50 adults and an annual week-long Summer Institute in Brooklyn for composers and conductors.
The culture of the organization marries informality, loving support and joyful curiosity, with the expectation of solid and technical Musicianship, constant learning and openness toward the unexpected.
