PG Carnivalesque" under The patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop music hits. During The performance we heard Choral arrangements of hits such as: "Dancing Queen", "Memory", "California Dreamin'" and "Maria". This time it was not Mozart or Bach, but ABBA, Queen and songs from The musical West Side Story that graced The walls of The Gdansk University of Technology in carnivalesque musical artistic creations. Jazz musicians performed along with The Choir, and The musical effects were accompanied by a unique lighting arrangement, which required appropriate space and audience arrangement. The more-than-hour-long performance by The Academic Choir of The Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted by Prof. Mariusz Mróz and accompanied by musicians from The Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, ended with joint singing, encores and a standing ovation.  less

Currently numbering 18 singers, FCC has a broad repertoire featuring everything from early music and traditional pieces to The works of contemporary composers such as Whitacre, Pärt, Lauridsen and McMillan, and is highly regarded at home and abroad. In 2011, we travelled to Trondheim, Norway, to take part in Sangforening, a major festival featuring hundreds of Norwegian Choirs, and were The first ever foreign Choir invited to take part. 2012 saw us visit Languedoc, France, where we gave Concerts in beautiful old churches in Alzonne and Montréal, near Carcassonne. We are active in radio and television, having featured in many broadcasts of recorded and live services by The Irish national broadcaster RTE, including one recorded in Swords CoI church which was broadcast on Christmas day, 2010 and Easter and Advent services in 2012 and 2013. I went back to The first chapter of Genesis, to see what I could get out of my own culture's story, and I stripped away all The descriptions, adjectives, connectors and motivators. This mixed-voice Choral ensemble varies in size d...  moreOrganized under The direction of Dr. Brady Allred in 2010, The Salt Lake Vocal Artists has become The first professional-level touring and recording Choir within The Salt Lake Choral Artists organization. This mixed-voice Choral ensemble varies in size depending on The project from 16 to 40 auditioned singers and performs a diverse repertoire ranging from The Renaissance to The 21st Century. In its premiere season, The SL Vocal Artists were honored with an invitation to participate in The 42nd Tolosa Choral Contest in October 2010. After a successful Concert tour of The Basque region of Spain, The SLVA competed against renowned Choirs from all over The world and were awarded First Prize in all four categories They entered, as well as The special Audience Prize. To conclude only its second season, The SL Vocal Artists were one of only 25 Choirs and The only American Choir to perform at The World Choral Symposium in Argentina following a two week Concert tour of The country in July and August.
