Under the direction of Lisa Wong, the Choir has been praised for its beauty of sound...  moreFounded in 1964, the acclaimed Wooster Chorus is comprised of undergraduate students representing all academic areas within The College of Wooster's liberal arts program. Under the direction of Lisa Wong, the Choir has been praised for its beauty of sound, high level of artistry, and engaging performances. The Wooster Chorus presents several concerts both on and off-campus throughout the academic year, and embarks each spring on a week-long domestic tour. Membership is by audition. Recent collaborative performances have included Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D Minor with the Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.  less

The word 'vacilando' is Spanish, and refers to taking enjoyment out of the journey rather than focusing on the destination. As such, the Choir will take a more casual approach to music-making, with fewer performances throughout the season than Òran, our young adult Choir. The group will still place an emphasis on all the things that make Kokopelli's music-making unique, however: community, multiculturalism, choral excellence, and multifaceted performances.  less

Sponsored positions are available so don’t let money be a barrier. We meet every Wednesday evening from 7-9pm during school terms at the CWA Hall, 20 West Market St, Richmond, NSW. One of our members Pammy says: ‘It’s funny - most of us think we can’t sing but somehow together, we sound amazing!’ She’s right! So come along and join in the fun - it’s always a great time of singing our hearts out, laughing our socks off and meeting friends old and new.  less
