We were born on the 24th of july 2017. A New choir in our local area. Open to all Singers who want to have a fun singing experience, performing songs from the charts, old and New.

Many members of the Choir are choral scholars, some are at music college, and most hope to make a career in music. Since its foundation by Ralph Allwood in 1984, the Choir have toured extensively in Europe, and have also appeared throughout the United Kingdom at venues great and small, including St John's, Smith Square and some of the country's most glorious cathedrals.  less

The choir was founded in 1982 by José Firmino, actually is led by conductor and composer Paulo Bernardino (1973). The choir participates each year in about two dozens of concerts, in Portugal and abroad.  

We are an a cappella mixed voice choir of around 35 Singers. We started in 2008. We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own sound as well as that of our choir's. We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own sound as well as that of our choir's. We have a strong Folk influence and a variety of pieces that keep us challenged and growing. Directed and trained by singing teacher and choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony project where all Singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it. Our biggest success was winning the German National Choir Competition in 2010 in the category Jazz vocal et cetera - a capella.
