Looking for pulse-pounding tempos or soulful ballads? You've come to the right place. Our repertoire spans all musical genres, from barbershop standards to jazz and Broadway musical standards through to Pop and Rock music from the likes of Queen, Michael Jackson and The Eurythmics. Whether you're looking for a place to sing with others, or searching for a dynamic chorus or quartet to perform at your next show or corporate event, GAC are the group for you. We are made up of around 60 women from all over Auckland, from a diverse range of backgrounds, ages and occupations who come together to share a love of singing and performing. While singing at night, by day we have doctors, lawyers, real estate agents, a clinical psychologist, teachers, mums and more who all use their involvement with Greater Auckland Chorus as a crucial creative outlet. ...    less

Jede Sängerin kann sich einbringen,...  moreWir sind ein junger Chor mit Sängerinnen zwischen 18 und 28 Jahren. Bei Konzerten in Münster und der Region singen wir A Capella oder mit Klavierbegleitung, wobei einige der Arrangements von unseren Mitgliedern stammen. Jede Sängerin kann sich einbringen, sei es durch das Anleiten von Proben oder Einsingen, durchs Arrangieren oder Solo-Partien. W...  moreThameside Harmony has been in existence for over 30 years. A ladies' a capella four part harmony group we have our roots in barbershop but sing all sorts of music from old standards and barbershop classics to mega pop hits by groups like Abba and Queen. We perform sing outs for local groups in our area of Hampton in South West London, and take part in local fairs and festivals. Our weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays are a fun evening of singing, chatting and having fun together. We are always open to having new members. Experience is not required, nor is the ability to read music as we have 'teach tracks' with the songs in your part on (tenor, lead, baritone or bass) and access to these are given alongside sheet music. From time to time we run singing courses or open evenings for which there are no auditions.
