Over the years it has taken in thousands of singing students and graduates of University of Warsaw and other Warsaw's universities. In 2011 the choir celebrated its 90th anniversary. The current conductor is Irina Bogdanovich. Choir's forte always were a cappella performances - claim acknowledged with numerous awards, most recenly - third place at the interNational Busan Choral Festival and Competition in 2014 and Grand Prix at the most prestigious Polish choir tournament Legnica Cantat in 2011. Apart from a cappella works, choir perfoms both vocal and orchestral masterpieces such as Verdi's and Mozart's Requiem, Stabat Mater by Dvorak, Poulenc and Szymanowski, Beethoven's 9th Symphony or even J. S. Bach's Mass in h-minor widely regarded as the greatest and most demanding choral piece of all time. We run inspirational residential courses and training programmes, create remarkable concerts and performances, and work in partnership to get singing happening in schools and open settings. It is based in Tsuru City, located at the foot of Mt.Fuji. Under the our conductor, Prof. Masahiko Shimizu, we always practice in this place, blessed in nature, with many friends who get together at Tsuru University. Including the annual concert held on "World Chorus Day" on the second Sunday of December every year, we perform at elementary and junior high schools, social welfare facilities, etc., and sing at Chorus festivals, giving the "TSURUBUN SOUND" in a variety of venues. We have also awarded at the All Japan Chorus Competition in many times and often won top prizes in the largest Chorus competition in Japan.  less

It is composed of members coming from the Senior High School and College levels of the University, and in the recent years, it has bagged awards in different inter-school competitions, including the Southern Luzon Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SLCUAA) Cultural Competition wherein it ranked as the 1st Runner-Up in 2017 and 2018, and the 2nd Runner-Up in 2019. It has also sent its members to acclaimed skill improvement programs such as those organized by the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. wherein its members were hailed as the best in singing workshops in 2016, 2017, and 2018.  less
