My English version here is a Singing translation, so feel free to sing along in English :-)
Guillaume prends ton tambourin
Toi, prends ta flûte, Robin;
Au son de ces instruments
"Turelurelu, patapatapan"
Au son de ces instruments
Je dirai Noel gaîment.
Willie take your little drum
With your flute oh Robin come
With the sound of flute and drum
tootle tootle toot, bing a bang a boom
with the flute and with the drum
I will say Nowell with joy.
C'était la mode autrefois
De louer le Roi des rois
Au son de ces instruments
"Turelurelu, patapatapan"
Au son de ces instruments
Il nous en faut faire autant.
In the goodly olden days
The king of kings we'd praise
with the drum and with the flute
tootle tootle toot, bing a bang a boom,
with the flute and with the drum
we should do alike just so less

Homechoir is a new way of learning music. You don’t need to be an accomplished singer to take part. Homechoir members watch and sing along with Ben - teaching is one-way so nobody can hear us but the neighbours! - and are also invited to take part in the live text chat with Ben and with fellow singers around the world. There is a vibrant and friendly social community among the choir.
If you can’t join in live, then you can still enjoy the music-making at any time. All our sessions remain available on YouTube after the live streams end for watching on catch-up when you can, and as often as you like.
It is not necessary to be able to read music, and where scores are needed, Ben will display them on screen to help you learn. As well as traditional and classical choral pieces, Ben teaches a huge range of ot... less

All creatures now are merry minded,
The shepherd's daughters playing,
the nymphs are falalaing.
Yon bugle was well winded.
At Oriana's presence each thing smileth.
The flow'rs themselves discover,
Birds over her do hover,
Music the time beguileth,
See where she comes,
with flow'ry garlands crowned,
Queen of all queens reknowned.
Then sang the shepherds and nymphs of Diana,
"Long live fair Oriana!"

Our strength is in our repertoire and our ethos. We sing songs of protest, passion and celebration throughout the ages from all around the world. Leaving no generic stone unturned, our repertoire is wildly eclectic and deeply funky; songs to make you laugh, stomp your feet, shiver with harmonic delight and keep coming back for more!
Our Musical Director Kirsty Martin explains our vision: “We believe that collective song is a strong and versatile instrument that can move mountains. We stand out from the sing-along choirs and the corporate choral businesses as a bold creative force; an equitable, exploratory and enjoyable musical community who share and perform innovative vocal music together with a palpable and infectious joy. We’re willing to go where no choirs have gone before! We are the music makers, ... less
