We look for the unknown and the unsung. Composers such as Robert White, Jean Mouton and Jean L'Heritier are amongst our repertoire. In addition we champion the Music from current composers such a Miskinis, Part and Dubra. In addition we love singing Tallis, Byrd and Tomkins, Tye, Victoria, Guerrero and Padilla etc! We are based in Milton Keynes and have a reputation as being among the very best in the region. We are available for concerts and weddings, plus services in cathedrals and churches. We have provided the services at key UK cathedrals including Westminster Abbey, Salisbury, Hereford and Coventry to name a few. less

With the name, BUMC Jazz Choir started out in 1994 and started singing songs a cappella in 2001 and achieved to be the first Turkish a cappella jazz Choir.

BUMC Jazz Choir 2008 members, the winners of the IKSV Young Jazz 2008, who have boosted their success by attending to the most prestigious a cappella contest in the world, 'Vokal Total', in both pop and jazz categories and won 2 'Silver Diplom's and also have sung many times in many Festivals such as the 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival and the Akbank 18th Jazz Festival.
They also gave special concerts with Sertab Erener (ESC 2003 winner). The group carries on with their professional Musical careers under the name “Istanbul Essence”.
In July 2010, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir returned back to Turkey with 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 3 gold diplomas from the 'WORLD Choir GAMES' in China which is being shown as the biggest and the most prestigious choral Music event, being held with nearly 40000 participations from 90 countries.

There are more than 150 works of various times (Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism and Music of the twentieth century) and styles (choral concerts, choral miniatures and songs, spirituals, songs of different nations of the world, folk songs, Christmas Music) at the repertoire of our Choir. Modern Belarusian Music takes a large part of our repertoire, thanks to that we are happy to open Belarus to other nations.
