Based in the Weald of Kent, we are a friendly, enthusiastic and accomplished choir of around 25 mixed voices, who enjoy coming together to make music and to perform concerts at charity fund raising events throughout Kent, Sussex and also further afield. ...  moreBased in the Weald of Kent, we are a friendly, enthusiastic and accomplished choir of around 25 mixed voices, who enjoy coming together to make music and to perform concerts at charity fund raising events throughout Kent, Sussex and also further afield. As a choir, the Consort has a wide repertoire, ranging from Early Church music through to Folksongs and modern works. Each programme is different and reflects the wishes of those for whom we perform. Since the Consort’s formation it has raised, through its choral concerts, many thousands of pounds for a wide range of charities and churches. It is always glad to consider invitations from such organisations. Its services are given voluntarily, although a contribution towards its music library and other expenses is gratefully received. We would love to come and sing to you and help you raise much needed funds for your cause. In addition to singing at Fund Raising events, the Choir is available to sing at private functions, weddings, funerals and so on  less

The setting for men's Chorus was completed in August 2001 and is dedicated to William Rust Bartholomew. The premiere performance took place at the 2004 Society of Composers National Conference.

The event culminated in a dance party encore with audience and choir dancing together! After a simple lesson in the Obon dance from Shiga prefecture in Japan, the audience danced to a reprise of the final movement by the choir and trio. ANÚNA, is a unique and beautiful instrument that explores the stories of ordinary people, saints and scholars Within the songs are universal stories that are told through the landscape, the philosophy and the mythology of Ireland and beyond. Anúna created the vocal ambience of Riverdance (1994-1996), achieved a Top 10 placing on the U.K. Singles Charts while remaining at Number 1 on the Irish singles charts for eighteen weeks. In 2012 they appeared as the "Voices of Hell"on the video game Diablo 3 [Blizzard] gaining a Game Audio Network Guild nomination for the Best Original Choral performance in February 2013.
