The choir is in residence at the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet right in the heart of Paris France. Directed by the American Choral Conductor Scott Alan Prouty, they give concerts throughout France, and have often been used as the model choir for schools throughout France. The choir is known for the variety of it's repertoire going from classical music to french Songs to Broadway show numbers.  

As part of the Vocal Art Ensemble's May 2011 concert "Cloudburst--Sounds of Nature" is "Tres Cantos Nativos", a collection of three Krao Indian Songs arranged by Marco Leite. As this piece was meant to represent the early beginnings of human civilization and the birth of language, we have staged the piece in a somewhat tribal way and added jungle sound effects.  

on 26 of May, 2012, members of SoundRoutes choirs from across Glasgow and Lanarkshire visited Addiewell prison for the day to record a 4 track Ep "Changing Key" with the Addiewell Prison Choir. for security reasons, we could not take footage but everyone...  onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreone;">on 26 of May, 2012, members of SoundRoutes choirs from across Glasgow and Lanarkshire visited Addiewell prison for the day to record a 4 track Ep "Changing Key" with the Addiewell Prison Choir. for security reasons, we could not take footage but everyone who was present knows that the atmosphere was electric. An unlikely place to experience joy and community spirit, music brought together people from dramatically different backgrounds and gave them a common purpose. All proceeds go to Shelter Scotland.
