Vocalica is a group of enthusiastic people who enjoy singing, thereby providing entertainment for other people and themselves.

Since our first practice on 14 February 2013 the choir has grown to over 80 members with around 60 attending each Thursday.

Around thirty experienced amateur and professional singers make up the choir of BachWerk. The aim is to perform fantastic music to the highest possible standard. Additional support comes from private foundations, including the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, as well as gifts from the general public, and the 19/19/19 Campaign. ​We are the House Ensemble of The Rockville Bach Academy, Inc, a non-profit organization chartered in Maryland. Founded in 2011 by CONductor Richard Allen Roe, the group first took the name The Advent Project, owing to the Advent repertoire performed on their first CONcert.
