We sing a variety of music which, in some cases, is arranged by Charles. We rehearse, with a break for chat and refreshment at St Leonards Primary School in Exeter on Wednesday evenings.

We sing contemporary acappella: unaccompanied close harmony arrangements of jazz, pop, gospel and do-wap classics, including original arrangements by our members.

The choir has been a finalist in both the CBC choral competition for amateur choirs and the International Choral Kathaumixw in Powell River, British Columbia, and participated in the non-competitive Festival 500 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. It has also been the guest choir at Saskatchewan Sings, and sang at the installation of Lynda Haverstock (a former member) as Lieutenant-Governor of Saskatchewan. In 2010, the choir performed at Podium, the biennial conference of the Association of Canadian Choral Communities, held in Saskatoon. The choir’s repertoire has been rich in variety since its establishment, and Canadian music has always been an important component of its programming. Perhaps best known for its annual Remembrance Day concert, the choir’s schedule is generally rounded out by a seasonal concert in December or January and on...    less

The trio creates the perfect atmosphere for your special occasion, be it a wedding, corporate drinks reception or dinner. Their wide ranging repertoire includes well known classical, folk, ballads and contemporary songs. They’re also willing to learn new songs if you have a particular favourite – and language is no barrier. The list already includes Welsh, English, Italian, L...    less
