Past directors have included Dr. Elroy Friesen, Kristel Peters and Nathan Poole. The current artistic team consists of director, Vic Pankratz, assistant director Geung Lee and accompanist Ben Sellick. Prairie Voices performs in their own concert series, tours, is a regular guest of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and has recorded 6 CDs (including one as guest choir with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra). The concert also reflected on modern conflicts with a special focus on the impact of war on ordinary innocent people -refugees, civilians, children and victims of the growth of modern slavery often associated with conflict.
