We ...  moreMacquarie singers is one of the largest community Choirs in the district. Under the guise of other names, we have been in continuous existence for over 50 years and are currently conducted by the highly experienced and talented Dr Sarah Penicka-Smith. We meet on Monday nights at Trinity Chapel, Robert Menzies College from 7.00-9.30pm during school terms. There are no auditions and everyone is welcome, regardless of musical experience.

Materiał został nagrany przez chórzystów w domach w czasie kwarantanny w czerwcu 2020. #spiewajwdomu #zostanwdomu Dzięki możliwościom jakie daje internet, członkowie nagrodzonego srebrnym pasmem chóru zaśpiewali wspólnie po raz pierwszy od kilku miesięcy. Zaprosili do nagrania także przyjaciół z trzech kontynentów. Zespół w pieśni północnoamerykańskich Indian daje nadzieję, że wraz z zachodem słońca odejdą problemy i nadejdzie lepsze jutro.  "Evening rise" jest efektem pracy ponad 30 chórzystów. Projekt stanowi nie tylko finał sezonu artystycznego zespołu, ale i wyjątkowe muzyczne spotkanie w wirtualnym świecie. Wirtualny chór w wykonaniu “Razzle Dazzle” wyróżnia się  6-głosem a cappella. Dodatkowym wyzwaniem dla śpiewaków był brak odsłuchu linii melodycznej i metronomu w słuchawce. Dyrygentka wskazywała jedynie dźwięk początkowy i końcowy poszczególnych pokazów tematu. Founded in 1951 by the late Richard S. Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural community for more than seven decades. In addition to presenting its own concerts, the Choir is a regular guest of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and collaborates frequently with other Edmonton ensembles, including the Alberta Baroque Ensemble. It has also collaborated with other Canadian Choirs in the past, including the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir.  less
