Boosting about 190 choristers ages 5 to 18, The HCC offers youth vocal training and mUsic instruction to foster creative expression and appreciation of mUsic. Its latest choir program, Lads & Gents, is a boys choir program that provides young male Singers (ages 8 to 28) with an opportunity to explore Their choral instrument within a safe, supportive environment, surrounded by oTher boys and young men. Bernard’s mUsic featured on The Horrible Histories film Bill (2015), and he co-produced The album, Not Now, Bernard & OTher Stories, performed Orchestra of The Swan and Alexander Armstrong, released in February 2020. In January 2020 Bernard’s choral mUsic was featured in a portrait concert by The BBC Singers, and in November 2020 one of The pieces from that concert, I Sing of Love, was nominated by The Ivors Academy for an Ivors Composer Award.
