The choir is in residence at the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet right in the heart of Paris France. Directed by the American Choral Conductor Scott Alan Prouty, they give concerts throughout France, and have often been used as the model choir for schools throughout France. The choir is known for the variety of it's repertoire going from classical music to french Songs to Broadway show numbers.

As the finale to the Vocal Art Ensemble's "INKSPELL--Choral Music Inspired by Masters of Poetry" concerts, we performed Jaako Maantijaarvi's first three Shakespeare Songs, culminating on our playful, crafty interpretation to this famous text from MacBeth....  onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreone;">As the finale to the Vocal Art Ensemble's "INKSPELL--Choral Music Inspired by Masters of Poetry" concerts, we performed Jaako Maantijaarvi's first three Shakespeare Songs, culminating on our playful, crafty interpretation to this famous text from MacBeth. The women shed their shawls and toss them into the center to represent the ingredients being dropped into the bubbling 'cauldron'.
