Through unique programming and exceptional musicianship, Quintessence strives to provide The Albuquerque area with multiple opportunities to hear Choral music delivered with professionalism and a dose quirkiness.

We are based in Chicago's western suburbs. ECU performs two major Concerts each season with full professional orchestra musicians and pro soloists, and also a mini-Concert of our singers in solos and duets with piano. We often appear as featured guest artists with Elmhurst Symphony and in local appearances. Our outstanding volunteer singers come from throughout The Chicago area for a unique musical experience. Our conductor James MacDonald has directed Choirs and orchestras throughout The U.S. and overseas, and teaches conducting and music Theory.
