Striving to achieve artistic, vocal and Musical excellence The choir singers are graduates of The Rubin Academy of Music Tel Aviv, The School of Choir Singing, music students and graduates of selected youth choirs, performing a varied repertoire including both classical and contemporary music.
Ma'ayan has performed in official ceremonies held by The municipality; in various festivals such as Tel Aviv –Yafo Festival, Abu Gosh Vocal Music Festival, The Renaissance Festival, "Tones in The Desert" festival, The Jerusalem Arts Festival; in concerts with The Symphonic Orchestras of Jerusalem, Haifa and Rishon Letzion, The Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, The Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Raanana Symphonette, Baroquada, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra and The Israeli Opera.

Our current classical Musical... moreThe Addison Group of Singers is made up of four different choirs for singers of all ages, abilities and Musical interests. It was founded more than 30 years ago with David Wordsworth as its Musical Director from 1995 to 2023. Our current classical Musical Director is MatThew Thomas Morgan, and our current jazz Musical Director is Jill Jarman.
The group comprises two classical choirs – an auditioned Chamber Choir and a much larger non-auditioned Oratorio Choir; and two jazz choirs – an auditioned mixed Jazz Ensemble and a larger non-auditioned all-female Jazz Choir. It also offers two different singing classes to meet The needs of beginners, intermediate and The more experienced singer.
The Addison Singers normally operate on three 10-week terms (The same as The schools) with a concert or recital at The end of each term. services to The community when The need arises, to provide a Musical hom... moreTswelopele Chorus was established in July 2015. Siyabonga Dlamini and Sibusiso Sithole,
with The primary objective (/s) of rehearsing and performing choral music, providing Musical
services to The community when The need arises, to provide a Musical home for all interested in
The greater Pretoria and Johannesburg area and to promote The standard of choral music.
Secondarily Tswelopele aims to educate its members in The singing of all types of choral music,
arrange concerts for The general public to attend, perform choral works with oTher choirs and
participate in various competitions and music festivals in The community. The choir currently
consists of 48 choristers. The choir being fairly young went to its first (TCMA) competition on
October 18th 2015, winning first place in The development section. The choir has since went on to
perform at Computeshare and Standard Bank respectively. Tswelopele Chorus attended its first GACMA
competition on May 29th 2016 and placed 6TH in The standard category.
