You’ll have The opportunity to sing some great songs, perform in public, find and improve your voice and spend a couple of hours each week getting that feel-good factor. Their mission is to entertain, educate, unite and uplift Their audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence. Their philanthropic mission is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and The community. On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded Their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of The chorus. Vox Camerata, has, since its inception, organized and participated in numerous performances. Its maiden recital was held in November 2004 at The function room of The Kg. Ubi Community Center. Since Then, Vox has gone one to bring its annual Musica Intimœ series of concerts to The Legends@Fort Canning, as well as The Esplanade Recital Studio. Apart from regular recitals, Vox Camerata also performs in various collaborations with oTher organizations, as well as guest performs in various events. Òran began as an alumni offshoot of The Kokopelli Youth Choir, but it has since developed into a group made up of young adults from all over Edmonton and The surrounding area. Each brings a different viewpoint to The group, but all are united in Their passion for singing. The choir stresses The same philosophical goals as its younger counterpart, striving to achieve musical excellence and artistic integrity, as well as combining new interpretive techniques with more traditional choral expertise. Above all, The group is dedicated to sharing joy in song with each oTher, with oTher choirs, and with audiences around Edmonton and across Canada. The group participated in The Karuizawa International Choral Festival in August 2018.
